BEE RELIEF is a voluntary group founded and shaped in Bali, Indonesia, by a group of young activists who have heart and desire to help vulnerable people impacted by disasters. We have been involved and helping on disaster relief work since 2004. And in 2014 we have expanded our work across Indonesia and manage to transformed our capacity from local voluntary group to national organisation level, our coverage area started from Bali, Lombok, all across Java, Banten, Jakarta and Sulawesi island. We work closely with communities, government agencies, other NGOs, private sectors and donors.
BEE RELIEF main focus is to help emergency and disaster relief in Indonesia, we have experienced as first responders team that ready to help and mobilise logistic relief in 24 hours during disasters, we also have medical emergency unit that can be deploy within 48 hours during disasters, apart from first responders and emergency unit team, we are working on distribution of logistics relief for disasters victims, we also have working on WASH (water and sanitation, housing project), emergency tents and tarps, emergency toilets, school renovation, and village assistant projects, meals distribution and etc.
BEE RELIEF are eager to learn and working together with different background of groups not only for disasters relief but it goes beyond disasters. We help community based income generating activities through micro credit project for women in rural area in Banten, sustainable fishing cooperative to help villagers in North Sulawesi, and community combating covid19.
